La Pompadour

La Pompadour operates as a small but deliberate counterpoint to minimalist fatigue in the Mile End. Run by Stéphanie Finjean, the shop focuses on postmodern design and objects from the 1970s through the 1990s—an era often dismissed, here treated with care and context. The edit leans into bold geometry, saturated colour, chrome, plexiglas, and playful forms, drawing lines between Memphis-era irreverence and everyday domestic life. Clothing, furniture, lighting, and decorative objects coexist without hierarchy, selected less for nostalgia than for how they still function and provoke today. For clients looking beyond browsing, Finjean also offers sourcing and interior styling services, extending the shop’s curatorial eye into private spaces.
