Maya Jiyâmeyihtam Brousseau
Maya Jiyâmeyihtam Brousseau (she/her) is a Cree-Lebanese political science undergraduate at Concordia University, with family roots in Waswanipi First Nation and Beirut. Drawing on her communications work with Indigenous organizations and contributions to the Concordian and the David Suzuki Foundation, she writes about Indigenous and environmental issues, centring community perspectives and underrepresented voices.
