Le VV Tavernä

La Tavernä has long been one of Montreal’s nightlife landmarks. First opened in 1996 and reborn in 2024 on Saint-Denis, the bar has kept its reputation as a weekend meeting ground where generations mix on the dance floor. But it’s more than a late-night club. With a Meyer sound system, garage-door terrasse, billiards, baby-foot, and big screens for hockey nights, Tavernä doubles as a social lounge through the week. The program ranges from DJs and karaoke to comedy shows and private rentals, making it as adaptable for a 5 à 7 as for an all-night celebration. Weddings, birthdays, team parties, or simply a Saturday out—Tavernä’s appeal lies in its ability to shift gears without losing its festive edge.
