Kuya Saint-Henri

The second storefront from Brossard’s café Kuya, Kuya Saint-Henri, is a sleek shop on Rue Notre Dame offering Filipino-inspired beverages and snacks. Its blue cushioned benches, light wood tables, and stainless steel stools evoke a minimalist contemporary style that’s almost a signature for emerging Montreal cafes, but its menu stays anchored in traditional Filipino flavours. Mix any espresso or tea with their homemade syrups, which use ingredients like ube and pandan, or try a longganisa breakfast sandwich, with omelette soufflé, atchara (pickled papaya), and spicy mayo on focaccia.
