Cinéma Banque Scotia Montréal

Cinéma Banque Scotia Montreal opened at the turn of the century as Paramount Montréal, taking the bank’s name in 2007. Four lit escalators carry crowds up to the two main lobbies, which jut off into 12 auditoriums and one of the few Canadian IMAX screens still equipped for 70mm film. Given its downtown location, it’s Montreal’s busiest movie theatre, pulling in a steady stream of students, shoppers, and Peel Metro passersby. Concessions run the usual Cineplex lineup, and the venue also rents out party rooms for private and corporate events.
