Mignon (Old Montreal)

A French bistro concept from the Tomahawk Group, Mignon has operated on Saint-Paul West in Old Montreal since 2021, with a second location on Notre-Dame in Little Burgundy. The format is focused: steak frites anchors the menu, supported by oysters, escargots, beef and salmon tartares, mussels, and a short list of desserts that includes a vanilla crème brûlée and dark chocolate mousse. Chef Pat Marion rounds out the offering with rotating daily soup and dessert specials. The martini list is a draw in its own right, running from a classic dirty to a pickle martini and a litchi version. Beneath the Old Montreal location, the Negroni Room operates as a separate cocktail bar with its own moody atmosphere and DJ programming on select nights.
