Located within the Hyatt Centric Montreal at the eastern edge of Old Montreal, Pub Cartier Arms draws its identity from the neighbourhood's early British connections and the golden age of Canadian rail. The space takes its design cues from late Victorian private clubs in London and the grand railway hotels of the late 1800s, with décor conceived by the Gauley Brothers.

The menu applies British pub tradition to locally sourced ingredients, running from breakfast buffets and eggs Benedict through to lunch and dinner service with a full bar program. The building also houses Horizon, a 14th-floor rooftop bar with panoramic views of Old Montreal, the St. Lawrence, Mount Royal, and the downtown skyline.

With a 130-seat main dining room, a private dining room, and substantial event space, the property functions as much as a hospitality venue as a neighbourhood pub.
