LUMI

Located in the lobby of SonoLux, LUMI presents a contemporary, seasonal tasting menu built around the animating idea of dishes spotlighting one primary ingredient and surrounding it with familiar and unexpected compositions.
The kitchen draws on a wide range of influences, moving between Japanese technique, Peruvian peppers, Korean ferments, and classical French preparation without committing to any single tradition. Seafood starters run toward restrained elegance (oyster with Fernet Branca and dill; razor clam with sencha and wakame), while mains venture into richer territory with glazed duck breast, oil-poached halibut, and a beef tenderloin finished with veal sweetbreads and foie gras. Desserts take a similar approach to contrast, pairing strawberries with beet and chamomile or chocolate with rhubarb and vermouth.
The à la carte menu is complemented by five- and nine-course tasting options. Art installations rotate through the dining room, making the space as much a gallery experience as a restaurant.
