Sam Cha

Sam Cha has been pulling in a loyal crowd near Atwater since 2016, with picnic-style tables in a convivial room that makes sharing the obvious move. The beef tartare, sliced raw beef over apple with sweet soy and egg yolk, is the kind of dish that turns first-timers into regulars. Korean fried chicken comes four ways: sweet and spicy, soy garlic, creamy, or homemade spicy.
Beyond that, the menu covers tteokbokki in classic or rosé versions, seafood and kimchi pancakes, an okonomiyaki, udon in rose cream or spicy beef, soups including soondubu and kimchi jjigae, and ramyun with your choice of protein. Soju, beer, and sake round out the drinks.
