La Cabine Comedy Club

Opened in April 2026 on rue Saint-Denis near métro Laurier, La Cabine Comédie Club arrived as the third francophone comedy club in Montreal, founded by humorists Radi and Dominic Morin in direct response to a structural imbalance: a growing pool of working comedians and nowhere near enough stages. Radi, who performed in France before relocating to Montreal and previously organized nights at the bar that occupied this same address, financed the renovation personally. Dominic Morin, who has spent a decade straddling stand-up, independent production, and cultural strategy, serves as general manager. The 80-seat room was built from the start as a hybrid venue, with three fixed cinematic cameras capturing every show and a podcast studio in the basement available to artists during the day. Programming runs the full range: classic comedy club nights with four comics and a host, carte-blanche Soirées Signature, emerging-talent Nouvelle Vague evenings, open mics in both French and English, and a quarterly open call for unconventional artistic projects. Tickets for the standard shows run around $20.
