Bazart

A few years back, the team behind New City Gas decided to transform part of its heritage nightclub space into something completely different—a sprawling Mediterranean dining room and bar that borrowed its vibe from the beach clubs of Mykonos and Tulum.
The result is Bazart, where chefs built a menu around mezze spreads and live-fire cooking. Start with muhammara or labneh, move through hamachi crudo or beef tartare, then commit to charcoal-grilled lamb chops or whole sea bass. The wine list leans European with serious depth in natural and orange selections. Drinks range from classic Mediterranean bottles to house cocktails built around tequila and rum.
