
Brasserie Le Manoir (Pointe-Claire)

There are bars you go to, and bars you end up belonging to. Brasserie Le Manoir has been the West Island's version of the latter since 1972, a sprawling bar on Hymus with a fireplace, a terrasse, and a menu that runs from breakfast through last call. It’s where servers stay for decades and become local legends in their own right. The food is exactly what you want it to be: steaks, poutine, prime rib on weekends, and a breakfast menu that runs until 3 p.m. on Saturdays. Open 365 days a year from 7 a.m. to 1 a.m., which is either a public service or an enabler, depending on where you are in life.
