Le Patriote is equal parts pool hall, live venue, and local hangout. With rows of tables, dartboards, poker setups, and foosball, it doubles as a place to kill an afternoon and a cabaret that fills up at night with bands, comedians, and hockey fans glued to the screens. Prices for games are easy on the wallet, though drinks can run higher than expected for some, we suppose.
Experiences of this place run the gamut that is a local watering hole: some love the staff and atmosphere, others will be quick to point out lapses in service or mix-ups that can sour a night. Still, the space has carved out a reputation as a go-to for group outings, office parties, and tournaments.
By day, it’s quiet enough to shoot a few racks without distraction; by night, the music and crowd give it a different energy.
For better or worse, Le Patriote remains a fixture in Saint-Eustache nightlife.
