Café Marigold

Café Marigold is a café-bistro on Laurier Est led by chef-owner Sarah Witteveen, where coffee, seasonal cooking, and local art share the same space. The room leans warm and creative, with ceramics sourced from Montreal makers and a mural near the entrance by artist Gallina Negra reflecting the chef’s personal story.
The menu follows a farm-to-table approach built around relationships with Quebec producers, shifting with the seasons as ingredients change. Mornings revolve around espresso drinks made with beans from Montreal roasters—often paired with pastries—while the kitchen turns out a short lineup of ingredient-driven dishes through early afternoon. Coffee selections rotate throughout the year, and loose-leaf teas come from Camellia Sinensis.
