Le Moineau Masqué is a charming third-wave neighborhood café tucked away on a quiet street in the Plateau. Open since 2013, owner Fanny Godey named it after the sparrows in the garden and the slightly hidden or “masked” quality of the café’s location. Inside, the space glows with white paper lanterns, exposed brick, and mismatched vintage furniture, while the back garden offers a leafy summer escape. The menu keeps things simple and local: excellent coffee, buttery pastries, light lunches, and even some gluten-free treats.
