Marché 7 Jours

The original dep, believe it or not: What is now Marché Sept Jours, at the corner of Saint-Zotique and 1st Avenue in Rosemont, is the address where Paul-Émile Maheu opened the very first dépanneur in 1970—and it's still running, still independent, still doing what it was built to do. Current owner Imad Abdallah has been holding it down for years, arriving before the doors open and staying after they close.
The selection leans hard into beer with over 600 labels, from local microbreweries to classic imports, but the shelves cover everything from frozen meals and pantry staples to pet food, pain relievers, and coffee.
