Marriott's Moxy brand arrived in Montreal in spring 2025, and it landed in a stretch of downtown wedged between Griffintown and Old Montreal, behind the Gare Centrale and just downhill from the city's commercial core.

The 216-room hotel occupies the lower floors of the Finale Residences tower, and the design leans into the neighbourhood's industrial past: subway car murals on each floor by Montreal firm Design is Yummy, a mirrored tunnel connecting the hotel's two halves, a dramatic mirror installation suspended from the lobby ceiling. Rooms are compact but considered, with motion-activated LED guidelights and walk-in showers doing more work than a closet ever could. The 12th floor—pool, hot tub, sauna, gym with a view of the Farine Five Roses sign—is the real payoff.
