Rose Ross

Rose Ross is a neighbourhood bistro on Promenade Masson that treats seasonal cooking with the ease and warmth of a home kitchen—if that home belonged to a pair of career chefs with great taste in wine.

Owned and operated by Sébastien Courville and Myriam Pelletier, the couple runs the kitchen as well, drawing inspiration from market arrivals, personal cravings, and the namesake grandmother whose portrait greets you at the door. The dishes are thoughtful but unfussy—Brussels sprouts with Vietnamese flavours in winter, white asparagus and sorrel in spring, housemade gnocchi whenever it feels right. Wines are mostly organic and natural, cocktails follow the rhythm of the menu, and there’s always a soft spot for dessert (especially their praline-stuffed choux).
