What began with Willie and Paula Waxman—Polish immigrants with an eye for tailoring—has become a fourth-generation operation led by Billy Waxman, who grew up in the shop and now lives above it. While tuxedo rentals and made-to-measure suits remain the backbone of the business, Billy has reimagined the space as something more than a formalwear store.
