Cidrerie Le Somnambule
About
A cidery and orchard in Saint-Henri-de-Lévis, on land first planted with apple trees in the early 1980s and run for decades as Verger Casa Breton before the current name took over. The ciders are made with minimal intervention and spontaneous fermentation, and every bottle carries a label commissioned from an artist, one piece of work per cuvée. Visiting is a fair part of the appeal: blueberry picking from late July, apple picking in the fall, a terrace for tastings in any weather, an ice cream counter, and a shop carrying the ciders alongside products from other producers in the area. Guided tours with tastings can be booked, school and daycare groups are taken, and there are classes for anyone who wants to make cider at home.
