From February 24th to March 22nd, Royalmount is turning its Urban Park into a hub for a month-long culinary circuit, ROYALMOUNT: Les Saveurs, a gathering of six restaurants for a series of limited-run menus, ticketed tastings, and chef-driven formats.
The programming leans into the Urban Park’s 77,000-square-foot outdoor space at the destination’s heart, curating select names from among the 20+ restaurants it’s ringed by that open onto terrasses and shared walkways. Essentially, there are mall food courts at one end of the spectrum, and then there’s Le Fou Fou at the other, with a dining design that encourages movement: grabbing drinks at one spot, dinner at another, dessert somewhere else.

The lineup spans cuisines and price points:
- At Sansotei Ramen, the format is accessible: a $25 festival combo featuring your choice of ramen, an entrée like gyudon, and a drink, with the option to swap in a Sapporo for an extra four dollars. It runs Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays throughout the series—a low-commitment entry point for anyone testing the waters.
- Momiji, the Otto Group's sushi-and-yakitori hybrid, is offering two distinct experiences. On Tuesdays, a sake tasting pairs five pours with a platter of 11 nigiri. On Thursdays, a five-course omakase showcases the kitchen's precision with wagyu, foie gras, and sashimi. Both run $80 per person, and both require reservations that are already filling up. — Book here
- Balam, the upscale Mexican restaurant, is stretching things out with a four-course seasonal menu available for lunch and dinner over two weeks, from March 2nd to the 15th. An optional tequila and mezcal pairing adds depth for anyone looking to lean into the spirit program. At $65 per person, it's one of the more approachable prix fixe options on the roster. — Book here
- Sammi & Soupe Dumpling, the family-run xiao long bao spot that's been making a name for itself since 2013, contributes one of the more unique formats in the series: a reservation-only wine pairing limited to just 10 guests per seating, matching three wines with three baskets of premium xiao long bao. It runs March 9th through 11th and books via email—intimate by design. — Book by emailing royalmount@sammisoupedumpling.ca
- RH Rooftop, set beneath the skylights and olive trees of Restoration Hardware's third-floor restaurant, is hosting caviar tastings hosted by Gregory Faye on Wednesdays throughout the series (February 26 as well as March 5, 12, and 19). — Book here
- Le Fou Fou, the sprawling food hall housing a dozen culinary concepts, takes a different approach with its Winter Tasting Passport. The ticketed format invites guests to circulate through select vendors for curated bites and drinks—$35 for five tastings, $45 for eight—running from March 15th through the 22nd.
The series overlaps with MTL en Lumière, one of the city's anchor culinary events, and the Urban Park's refined Italian dining hall Siamo Noi is running a concurrent activation as part of that festival.
ROYALMOUNT: Les Saveurs lands just as the city shakes off the last of winter, catching that early-spring energy when Montrealers are ready to get out again. Most experiences require reservations, with different restaurants activating on different nights throughout the four-week run, so book your spot while you can.
