It’s usually the same old thing when it comes to the post-holiday wellness push: every gym, studio, and athleisure brand rolls out ‘new year, new you’ messaging and you’re feeling pulled in every direction.
The approach at ROYALMOUNT is a little more interesting: a month of complimentary programming that spans yoga with ALO, lunchtime pilates, and skating sessions with live DJs. Resolution culture is one thing, but really, people just need reasons to move on a mat, on ice, or on a lunch break. Here’s what’s coming up.
Pilates + Prosecco at Maison Territo

On January 16 at 9 a.m., Maison Territo hosts a morning that pairs controlled movement with a glass of sparkling. The pilates session focuses on strengthening, lengthening, and the mindful engagement the practice is known for. Afterward, Dr. Mirko Gilardino—board-certified plastic surgeon and medical director of Clinique Le 1620—leads a short talk on skincare, beauty, and aesthetic trends.
Start the year informed about both how you move and how you take care of yourself. The setting helps too—Maison Territo's design-forward space makes the whole thing feel considered rather than gimmicky. Attendees receive an exclusive gift redeemable at the ROYALMOUNT clinic, too.
Midday Reset with Big Daddy Fitness + Rise Pilates

Not everyone has the luxury of a 9 a.m. wellness window, which is where the Midday Reset sessions come in. On January 21 and 28 at noon, Big Daddy Fitness and Rise Pilates team up for a lunchtime workout that blends pilates fundamentals with bodyweight training.
The goal is efficiency, strength, mobility, and a mental reset without torching your energy for the rest of the workday. Most people's schedules don't bend so easily, so this meets them where they're at.
Ice skating sessions

The skating rink in ROYALMOUNT's Urban Park has been running all winter season, but the DJ-soundtracked evenings are the draw. On January 17, February 14, and March 7 from 4 to 7 p.m., the rink transforms into something more social with complimentary skate rentals and music keeping things lively for a crowd that skews intergenerational.
It's low-barrier winter activity with a bit of atmosphere, no fitness goals required (but some fitness invariably involved). Valentine's Day on ice isn't a bad date idea either.
ALO + ROYALMOUNT yoga series

ALO Yoga's two-part series starts January 18 at 9 a.m. with an indoor session that’s gentle, flowing, and designed to ease you into the practice. A week later, on January 25 at 9 a.m., things shift outdoors for a Nordic-inspired class that leans into the cold rather than hiding from it. There's something to the idea of breath work in frigid air, the kind of invigorating discomfort that makes you feel more awake than any January coffee.
Both sessions are free, and ALO's presence adds a layer of credibility for anyone who takes their yoga seriously.
