Pâtisserie & Boulangerie Italia

About
Pâtisserie Italia isn’t new, but it’s still setting the standard. A fixture in the neighbourhood for years, this family-run spot quietly turns out some of the city’s best Italian baked goods—no gimmicks, just skill. Their focaccia sandwiches (stacked with mortadella or prosciutto) disappear fast, and the tomato pizza slices never last long either. Regulars swear by the cannolis, and if you’re lucky enough to score a scoop of their old-school tiramisu, take it—Nonna’s recipe doesn’t miss. Sourdough and multigrain loaves are weekend-only, naturally fermented, and worth the pre-order. Staff are warm, and if you don’t know what to pick, they’ll walk you through it like you’ve been coming here for years. It’s the kind of place that builds neighbourhood loyalty one sandwich, pastry box, or pizza slice at a time. And according to some, Carina makes a mean chicken cutlet sandwich that’s hard to beat.
