Les Laines Biscotte

What started as a knitting blog named after a grey house cat has grown into one of Quebec’s most beloved yarn brands. Biscotte Yarns began with a playful experiment: hand-dyeing skeins at home, sharing the results online, and unintentionally building a following of knitters eager to get their hands on the colourful creations. The real breakthrough came with their Autorayante™ line—self-striping yarns that transform plain knitting into patterned art without any extra effort. Since 2007, that curiosity-driven hobby has evolved into a full-scale operation based in Saint-Bruno, where a 30-person team now produces and ships yarns across Canada, the U.S., and beyond.
