For five years, the space sat vacant, as Shaika’s original owners sought out buyers. It was revived in 2026, to the glee of regulars and NDG locals, with a Portuguese twist. Expect specialty coffees and teas, hearty sandwiches, and Portuguese tapas served in a warm, eclectic space decked out with local art and vintage decor.
