A Little Italy institution run by a gelato maker with over two decades of daily practice behind him. The Sicilian pistachio is the signature—properly nutty, naturally brown, nothing artificial—and the hazelnut and dark chocolate have their devoted followings. Around 19 flavours rotate through depending on the season, alongside cannoli, tiramisu and an affogato worth making the trip for. What sets it apart from most gelato spots in the city is the room itself: there's actual indoor seating here, which means you can enjoy a scoop without racing the sun.
