DaWa has been on Sherbrooke West in NDG since 2014, and Korean fried chicken is the name of the game here. Everything is fried to order from fresh, never frozen chicken, and the menu runs through bone-in, boneless, and wings in a range of preparations: plain golden fried, sweet red (the signature), creamy onion, honey garlic, snowing cheese, and a padak with shredded green onions and wasabi soy sauce, among others. Combos let you mix two or three styles in a single order. Beyond the chicken, the kitchen does jeyuk, bulgogi, and dak-galbi with rice or noodles, a shrimp cream udon, and a handful of salads and sides.
