El Khomsa is a Tunisian café-restaurant open since 2000, founded by Marwen Lakhdhar. The menu is rooted in Tunisian home cooking: lablebi (chickpea broth with tuna, poached egg, and chili), couscous d'agneau, couscous osbene, makrouna agneau, nwasser poulet (pasta with chicken and chickpeas), jelbena d'agneau, kamounia (cumin-spiced beef stew), kafteji with merguez, méchoui, salade mechweya, and mlewi sandwiches with tuna or chicken. During Ramadan, a set menu covers soup, brick, salad, and a choice of main.
