Mount Royal, Montreal
Île Jeju (Royalmount)

About
Named for the volcanic island off South Korea's southern coast, Île Jeju is a Korean counter-café on the second floor of Royalmount's outdoor Urban Park, steps from De la Savane metro. Opened in 2026, it works as a grab-and-go spot with most things made in house: kimbap, onigiri, yubu, ramen, and Japanese-style sandos running from tamago to a strawberries-and-cream number that doubles as dessert. The drink list is the bigger draw, with a corn latte, black sesame latte, matcha mango, and yuzu ade among the options, many finished with a cap of ube cream. The setting is calm and modern, built for a quick lunch rather than a lingering one.
