La Sirène de la Mer has anchored the TMR dining scene since 1994, when the Cheaib family opened it as a gathering place built around Lebanese hospitality and the best seafood they could source. Thirty years on, the family still runs it, and the fish market remains the thing that sets it apart: you pick your fish, they cook it. The dining room delivers on the promise of the entrance, which announces itself with cobalt columns and a chandelier, then opens into a proper white-tablecloth room with a gold embossed ceiling and a wine wall that means business. The menu moves between mezze classics, grilled octopus, raw oysters on Wednesdays, and kebbé nayeh for those who know. A terrace for summer, private rooms for groups.
