It's a little bit of everything and more at this swish update to the space that once housed the Kokochi izakaya in Verdun: Le Godot has a far-reaching menu that'll go everywhere from scallop crudo and beef tartare with bone marrow to dumplings, lumpia, grilled shrimps, poutine, and curry mussels. While that might sound stretched a little thin, they pull it all off with a suavité, a tidy cocktail menu and wine list, and some plush banquettes to luxuriate in.

Being deep in Verdun, this spot'll seem like it's way out of reach for some, but you're (maybe?) hearing it here first: Go off the beaten path and try this one on for size.
