Méli-Mélo is a Villeray institution, opening in 1984 as a grocery store; owners Jean-Michel Baptiste and Jean-Marie Toussain later expanded the space to include a casse-croûte. Haitian chicken is a local favourite here, but the menu also includes a variety of Caribbean dishes—most priced under $22. Outside of prepared foods, Méli-Mélo sells produce, spices, and other Caribbean goods.
