Les Mômes opened in Villeray in 2022 as a project by chef Yoann Van Den Berg and co-owner Marie Voyer. Van Den Berg, originally from southwest France, trained in Switzerland before arriving in Montreal, where he cooked at Le Fantôme and Pastel. He won season 14 of Radio-Canada's Les Chefs! in 2025, and the restaurant has been recommended by the Michelin Guide. The menu is Quebec-sourced and seasonally driven, offered as a four-course Essentiel ($85) or six-course Épicurien ($105). Current dishes include Quebec asparagus with Matane shrimp and crab espuma, Gaspésie halibut with wild garlic vegetable ragout, and red deer with celeriac. BYOB, open seven evenings a week.
