CCA Bookstore

The CCA Bookstore is less about impulse buys and more about slow, curious browsing. It brings together the Canadian Centre for Architecture’s own publications—print and digital—with a tightly edited selection from publishers working across architecture, landscape, photography, design, and urban thought. The physical bookstore has been around since 1989, and that history shows in the depth of the shelves: theory-heavy titles sit comfortably next to visually driven books and niche research projects. It’s a place where contemporary debates feel grounded, not academic for the sake of it, and where you’re as likely to leave with a slim essay as a hefty reference book you’ll keep coming back to.
