Choco de Léa

Founded in Montréal, Choco de Léa operates as a small-scale, bean-to-bar chocolate workshop with a clear point of view. Everything is produced directly from cocoa beans, allowing full control over flavour, texture, and sourcing. The chocolates are entirely vegan, made without animal products or lactose, and rely on a mix of fine cacao and carefully chosen local ingredients. Founder Léa trained in pastry at the ITHQ before deepening her understanding of cacao through fieldwork and study in Ecuador, where she engaged directly with growers and reforestation projects. That experience informs an approach built around direct trade, transparent sourcing, and environmental accountability. Cocoa is sourced exclusively from the Americas, packaging is plastic-free and locally produced, and manufacturing happens on site in Montréal.
