The room draws regulars, families, and anyone drifting through the building’s maze of community projects, and the kitchen keeps things straightforward with burritos, chili, hot dogs and vegan snacks. It’s a space shaped by the people who work in it, and one of the few spots in the city where that’s still literally true.
