Makro

Makro is a seafood-focused restaurant in Griffintown operated by the group behind Grinder. The menu highlights seasonal fish and shellfish, prepared with influences ranging from Mediterranean to Asian coastal cuisines. Dishes include options like flétan rôti with artichoke and lime, grilled octopus with potatoes and coriander, and a range of tartares and raw plates such as bluefin tuna and wagyu beef. Larger cuts of Canadian beef and surf & turf platters complement the seafood offerings.

The dining room features a subdued, pearlescent design and an extensive wine list emphasizing private imports. Open for dinner, Makro serves as the group’s refined take on a modern Montreal seafood restaurant.
