Prince Pub

Prince Pub House landed in the former Suwu space at the corner of Prince-Arthur and Saint-Laurent with a clear sense of purpose: serve the best pub food on the Main, keep the kitchen open until 1 a.m., and give the neighbourhood somewhere worth coming back to.
The room earns its tavern credentials with glossy purple walls, lacquered wood panelling, diner-style foot rails, banquette seating, and a pool table in the back. Executive chef Pierre Morneau, whose resume runs through spaces like Cadet and Miracolo, built a menu around the food he'd actually want to eat at a pub: house pretzels, salmon tartare, oysters, thin-crust tavern pizza, and a fresh brisket-grind burger served medium rare with classic toppings. The Plateau Royal, a three-tiered tower of pretty much everything, is the move for groups.
A daily 5 à 7 and a 30-seat summer terrace round out a place that's less interested in the late-night circus outside its door than in becoming the kind of neighbourhood anchor this stretch has been quietly needing.
