Good morning, Montreal.
I’m seeing many amazing stories this past week: Deep dives into city identity, bold perspectives on food and culture in real time, a sweeping (and heartwarming) retrospective on Côte-des-Neiges… there’s even pizza omakase?
This city never ceases to surprise me.
And we hope you enjoy these stories even more now, because (classic Jimmy Wales-style segue incoming here) you may have noticed that we tried launching ads throughout the site. Maybe it’s the enshittification fatigue talking, but we couldn't stand the experience, and we got rid of them.
We're constantly trying things to help support our operations, and that includes expanding our team; we're eight strong now! That, and staying on top of the best of what’s happening in Montreal, takes a lot of resources. It’s not easy, but we're committed to making it the best experience in the city, and we hope you’ll consider helping us along in that journey.
