Benedetta

Set inside a landmark Old Port building, Benedetta works across registers: café by day, restaurant and bar by night, event venue when the occasion calls for it. The menu is rooted in Italian comfort food but spans formats—grilled cheeses on fig-walnut or multigrain sourdough at lunch, Roman-style pizzas by the slice, pastas built around tomato and basil, and heartier plates like lamb-and-beef burgers or chicken cutlet panini. Starters lean on fresh produce and tradition—watermelon with fior di latte, arancini, polpette—while desserts keep things classic with cannoli, tartufo, and cheesecake. Beyond the food, the setting is what draws people in: a courtyard terrace for warm evenings, a private room upstairs for small gatherings, and, behind the scenes, Cappella, a speakeasy bar that trades in cocktails and late-night atmosphere.
