Exoplus opened in February 2024 as the Montreal outpost of Exo, the province’s longest-running independent skate shop. Founded in Québec City in 1989, Exo has been a backbone of the local skateboarding scene for more than three decades, and the move downtown marked both continuity and reinvention.
The second-floor loft space houses a carefully chosen mix of international skate and streetwear brands—Nike SB, Polar, GX1000, Obey, New Balance Numeric, Vans, and more—while the design itself riffs on skate culture: curved aluminum racks echo ramp lines, textured walls recall grip tape, and the brand’s signature orange cuts through the space with energy.
It’s a place where Montreal skaters can find boards and gear, backed by a lineage that has helped shape how skateboarding looks and feels in Quebec since the late ’80s.
