Set in the former home of the now-closed Miss Villeray, this neighbourhood bar comes from a tight-knit crew of friends with roots in Montreal’s beer scene—think Cheval Blanc, Réservoir, Vices & Versa. Together, they’ve pieced together a space that reflects them: low-key, affordable, and built to last. The taps pour rotating collabs with local microbreweries, and the short wine list leans natural, curated in-house. On the food side, chef Maxime Duquette (formerly of Saint-Bock and Moccione) keeps things sharp and seasonal—mostly vegetarian, never boring. Dishes like fennel with walnuts and blood orange, or miso mushrooms with gremolata and kale, are designed to complement what’s in your glass.
