For more than fifty years, Les Habits St-Eustache has been a landmark in men’s fashion on the North Shore. In 1971, when founder Alcide Cloutier opened the shop during what turned out to be the storm of the century—a delayed debut that didn’t stop it from becoming a reference point for men’s clothing in Quebec.
Today, the store continues to outfit men of all sizes, from 30 up to 7X, with everything from tailored suits and dress shirts to jeans by Lois or Calvin Klein. The in-house workshop handles alterations, while the team provides guidance for weddings, graduations, and corporate uniforms. Shoes in extended sizes and a full range of accessories round out the selection.
Passed from the Cloutier family to new ownership in 2022, Les Habits St-Eustache remains a rare independent shops up against chain competition.
