PHI

PHI is a not-for-profit arts organization founded in 2007 by Phoebe Greenberg, built around a simple conviction: that contemporary art should be accessible to everyone. From its home base in Old Montreal, it operates at the intersection of art, technology, and human experience, encompassing a contemporary art foundation, a multidisciplinary centre, and a studio dedicated to producing and distributing immersive works. Programming runs the gamut from major exhibitions by leading international artists to film screenings, talks, performances, and virtual reality experiences that pull visitors into fully sensorial worlds.

The organization began as DHC/ART before adopting its current name, a nod to the golden ratio that underpins aesthetics in art and architecture. Whatever the format, the through line is the same: meaningful, often boundary-pushing encounters with the ideas of our time.
