Le Bled Resto Lounge sits at the corner of Saint-Denis and Sherbrooke in the Plateau, operating as both a restaurant and a full bar with DJs, live music, and late-night service. T
he menu ranges across West and Central African cooking: traditional dishes include yassa au poulet, mafé (peanut sauce with beef), tiebou dienne (broken rice with kingfish and vegetables), tiebou yap (broken rice with lamb in onion sauce), pondu (cassava leaf sauce with beef shank in palm oil), plakali (cassava flour paste with seed or okra sauce), foutou banane (banana plantain and cassava paste with palm oil seed sauce), and garba (attiéké with tuna). From the grill: dibi (goat or sheep), braised chicken in various cuts, brochettes of chicken, beef, lamb, or shrimp, and whole roasted fish including tilapia, croaker, and red snapper. Starters run to nems, samoussas, fatayas, and fried calamari.
House-made non-alcoholic drinks include bissap, ginger juice, and a lineup of signature mocktails. The full bar carries wine, beer on tap, and a broad spirits selection with bottle service packages.
