About

The Thibaut family has been at this since 1946, when Lucienne Thibaut opened a curtain shop in Saint-Malo. Her grandson Dominique Tosiani, an interior architect, widened the scope well past window dressing, and his cousin Gwenaëlle brought the first address outside Brittany to Laurier West. The Montreal store holds hand-knotted Moroccan and vintage kilim rugs, furniture from Cassina and Caravane, Yves Delorme bed linens, tableware, Diptyque candles, Le Mont Saint-Michel workwear and Phytomer skincare, with antique finds placed against contemporary design rather than kept in a separate corner. An in-house decorating studio handles commissions, from curtains to reupholstered furniture to entire rooms. There's also a tea counter pouring Mariage Frères with viennoiseries from Le Pain dans les Voiles, so it's possible to spend an hour here without buying a rug.
