Café Origine

On the corner of Sherbrooke and Saint-Laurent, Café Origine occupies the ground floor of Hotel 10 in Ville-Marie, its mural-covered facade a reliable landmark at one of the neighbourhood's busiest intersections. The café sources locally roasted beans and serves a full espresso bar alongside pastries, chai, matcha, and kombucha from local producers. All shots are pulled double. The room is relaxed and plant-filled, with reliable wifi and a clientele that mixes hotel guests, neighbourhood regulars, and the occasional traveller who stumbles in and ends up buying beans to take home. Sebastian, who co-owns the place, is a recurring presence behind the counter and a reason many people come back.
