Boutique Courir has been on Saint-Denis since 1989, and at 15,000 square feet over three floors it works less like a shoe store than a depot for anything done under your own power: running, walking, triathlon, cycling and cross-country skiing, with enough depth in stock that staff can fit you properly instead of selling you what's left. The workshop side carries as much weight as the retail. Technicians prep and wax ski bases, mount bindings, cut poles and sharpen nordic blades, a bike mechanic works on site, and wetsuits, roller skis and bike transport cases can be rented. Sunday mornings bring a free group run open to anyone who can hold an hour, with energy products handed out at both ends. Worn shoes dropped off here go to Maison du Père, and a share of profits goes back into local races and clubs.
