Australian label Silk Laundry was founded in 2015 by Katie Kolodinski, a Canadian-born designer who built the brand around a single conviction: well-made clothing in natural fibres, free of superfluous detail, should last. The now-iconic 90s Slip Dress remains the reference point, and the broader ready-to-wear offer, spanning bias-cut pants, silk camis, shirts, knitwear and outerwear, holds to the same logic of enduring shape over seasonal trend. The Montreal boutique sits on Notre-Dame Street West and carries the full collection alongside accessories including scarves, belts and a ceramic jewellery line produced in collaboration with Barcelona-based studio Abenval. Private styling appointments, available one-on-one or for groups of up to six, are held before or after hours by arrangement.
