Kutuma Hotel & Suites is a nine-room boutique property designed around an African aesthetic with earthy tones and textures plus exposed brick in the upper suites. Rooms run noticeably larger than the building's modest street presence suggests. Suites come with whirlpool tubs and, in the Penthouse and Executive configurations, working fireplaces.

Downstairs, Le Nil Bleu has been serving Ethiopian food since 1992, well before the neighbourhood's current restaurant density made that kind of longevity unremarkable. Square Saint-Louis and the Sherbrooke metro station are two minutes away on foot.
